What kind of chocolate do you use?
We use 1.55 oz standard size Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars for all full size Candy Wrapper & Chocolate orders. For Miniature Candy Wrapper orders, we use Hershey's Miniatures which includes a mixture of Miniature Hershey's Milk Chocolate, Special Dark, Krackle and Mr. Goodbar.
What kind of paper do you use?
Our standard design candy wrappers are professionally printed on glossy commercial grade papers that could not be duplicated on home printers. Your personalized text will be added with a laser printer, not an ink jet, so no smearing will occur. Custom design candy wrappers are also printed on glossy paper.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Our website is set up to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club credit cards. If you would like to pay by check or money order, please call 1-800-673-5013 to place your order by phone. Orders paid by check or money order will be processed once payment is ereceived, or if paid by personal check, once the check has cleared.
How do I wrap the candy bars if I order Wrappers Only?
Wrapping instruction with easy to follow pictures are provided with all Wrappers Only orders. A sample mock candy bar wrapped with you candy wrapper is also included with each Wrappers Only order so you have an example to follow. This mock candy bar can also be saved as a keepsake of your event!
How long does it take to receive my order?
Your order will ship within 5-7 business days after approval of your proof is received. We ship via USPS Priority Mail which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive. If we have the candy wrapper design you have chosen in stock, we can often send your order out much sooner. If you are unsure if you have enough time to receive your order, please call 1-800-673-5013 or e-mail info@thecandybarwrapper.com and request an estimated processing time for your order. If you need a rush order and we can accomadate you, we will gladly do so!
Can I add a photograph or logo to my candy wrapper?
Yes, we can add a photograph or logo to a blank wrapper or one of our predesigned candy wrappers when the option to add a photo is present on that design's ordering page. Photographs or logos should be at least 300 dpi for quality printing. If the photograph you wish to use was taken by a professional photographer, you will first need to obtain written permission from the photographer before we can use it. You can e-mail your photograph or logo in JPEG format to photos@thecandybarwrapper.com along with any special instructions and your order number if the order has already been placed. There is an additional .15 cents per wrapper charge for adding a photo or logo.
Will I receive a Proof of my candy wrapper?
Yes, a proof of your candy wrapper is sent to you via e-mail for your review and approval prior to printing your order. The proof will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you provide at check-out within 2 business days of placing your order, but in most cases the same business day as your order is placed.
Can I order Wrappers & Chocolate in 70 plus degree weather?
We strongly suggest that you order Wrappers Only during warm weather and then purchase your own candy bars and wrap them yourself. This will save you a lot of money in shipping charges. However, if this is not possible, we will accept Wrappers & Chocolate orders during warm weather, however to be sure that your chocolate does not melt, it must be shipped via Overnight Shipping. The cost for Overnight Shipping is $25 plus $4 per 10 candy bars. Someone must be available to receive your order, to be sure they are not left on a door step in the sun to melt.
Why do I need foil?
Hershey's no longer packages their candy bars with the foil ends. The packaging is an all brown plastic wrapper. If you do not have the foil, the plastic ends will stick out of the candy wrapper and it does not look nice. That is why we provide you with FREE silver foil which each order - to assure that your candy bars have the classic candy bar look.
Can I put a nutrional label on the back of my candy wrapper?
Yes definitely! You can either state that you would like a nutritional label and let us know the specifics of what you would like it to say in the "Back message" section or you can just state that you would like a nutritional label put on the back and let us know the type of event and we will create one for you - we will then e-mail you a proof (as always) and you can specify any changes you would like to the label at that time.
